EasySampler
The EasySampler® series from GP Medical Devices contains various kit-solutions for easy and convenient collection of stool samples and one disposable product for collection of urine and watery stool samples. The products are all handcrafted and made of patented special water soluble paper. It is easy to install on the toilet seat and ensures easy and hygienic stool or urine collection. After use, flush the easily soluble paper down the toilet. Easy, simple and hygienic!

EasySampler® Advantages
Studies show that patients, who have received oral instructions from the doctor or at the hospital risk forgetting them again, when they go home to collect the stool sample. In addition, patients have expressed a desire / expectation to have a physical instruction, that they can consult, to be sure to take the stool sample correctly.
With an EasySampler® stool collection kit, detailed instructions are always included. The instruction has clear illustrations and explanatory texts, which go through the process of taking a stool sample from start to finish. The patient can both see and read how the stool sample is correctly collected.
This saves healthcare professionals both valuable time and resources during their busy working day. They simply hand out the EasySampler® kit to the patient and tell them that everything is thoroughly explained and shown in the instruction.
The patient can always follow the instructions at home, when he / she takes the stool sample – which provides greater security for the patient in the actual use situation.
Mount the EasySampler® collection paper on the toilet using the 5 detachable blue tape strips.
The clear and easy understandable instructions with both illustrations and explanatory text offer patients a step-by-step instruction on how to easily install the EasySampler® collection paper on the toilet.
After use, the tape can easily be removed without tools. In case of any tape residue, you can remove these with denatured spirits. The EasySampler® does not damage or leave stains on the rim of the toilet.
The stool collection paper is designed to separate stool from urine and menstrual blood and prevents the stool from touching the toilet water and thereby reduces the risk of contamination by water, disinfectants or other contamination sources. The paper can hold the collected stool for a minimum of 8 minutes, which provides plenty of time for the user to collect the stool correctly.
The EasySampler® kit includes a pair of nitrile gloves and disposable paper spoons which the patient can use when collecting the sample. Afterwards, gloves and spoons are thrown out together with ordinary household waste. The Complete Stool Collection Kit also provides the patient with a sample collection tube and a transport solution of the collected sample afterwards. The transport solution is UN3373 approved for transport of biological substances, category B.
By giving the patient clear and easy-to-understand instruction, as well as all the remedies for sampling, the patient’s discomfort and insecurity by having to take a stool sample is reduced. When the patient is able to send the sample directly to the doctor / hospital, without having to hand it in physically, we at GP Medical Devices are sure that stool sampling has been made less uncomfortable and more hygienic – and thereby reduces the risk of contaminated samples.
When the stool sample is taken, the patient simply releases the paper from the toilet bowl and flushes the collection paper and content down the toilet. The collection paper has been tested and approved for flush ability by Eurofins Laboratories in France, and the tape on the collection paper is also water soluble.
There is no risk of the EasySampler® collection paper clogging the toilet, and the patient does not have to worry about how to get rid of the remaining collected stool and the collection device with which it was collected. Just flush it out – simple, easy and hygienic!
